Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Asian, Arab and Emirati Federations, and member of the Executive Office of the International Fencing Federation, confirmed that the UAE’s hosting of the Asian Pioneer Championship competitions, for the first time, represents a kind of building bridges of communication between the different generations of the game.

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Fencing Federation headed by Eng. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the Arab and Emirati Federations, approved the updated statute of the federation and the internal regulations that regulate the work of the various sub-committees, and include a comprehensive strategy for the advancement of the future, including features of administrative, technical and financial development, competitions, clubs and teams in all their Sunni stages.

The UAE Fencing Federation is organizing the Asian Veterans Championship, at the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Center, during the period from September 6 to 8, with the participation of 140 male and female players from 14 Asian countries.
The tournament is held in cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Center and the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where participants compete in one of the Asian championships hosted by the UAE for the first time in the age groups (40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above).

Noura Al-Braiki, a player of the Baniyas Club and the national fencing team, is a mine of achievements and championships at all levels, local, Gulf, Arab and Asian. She is considered one of the outputs of the Elite Program at Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy, which provided her with external camps, and participated in international championships in Europe Which made her carry the number one in the list of Arab players in the "foil weapon."
